Akolkolex River

Akolkolex River

Season: Late August – November

The Akolkolex River is a remote glacier river located 35km south-east of Revelstoke, BC, known for its epic trout fishing opportunities. The river empties into Upper Arrow Lake/Columbia River through an impressive staircase of waterfalls. Join us as we drive along the Akolkolex forest service road to our destination and then hike into secluded pools and runs with crystal clear water where we can sight fish Westslope cutthroat for catch and release only. We will be using light fly gear or spinning gear to fish here. You can expect to see wildlife on the journey to and along the river. This river is definitely a Revelstoke hidden gem.

Columbia River

Columbia River

Season: April – November

The Columbia is a big river that produces big fish. This is our favorite water to fish when access permits. The beauty of this fishery is that it is located right in the heart of Revelstoke which gives us a unique view of the town and surrounding mountains from the water. We offer boat trips and walk and wade adventures on this river. We will be searching for large Rainbow and Bull trout using different methods such as jigging flies, spoons/lures, float fishing, bottom bouncing and trolling.

Lake Revelstoke

Lake Revelstoke

Season: April – November

Lake Revelstoke might just be one of Revelstoke’s best kept secrets. This beautiful lake boasts mountain views and scenery like no other. We launch at numerous different spots on this lake anywhere from a 15 minute drive from town to just over an hour. If you are up for the trip, the farther we go, the more impressive it gets, including the fish. We will be using different methods such as trolling, casting and jigging. Relax and take in the views while we fish for Kokanee salmon, Rainbow trout and Bull trout.

Upper Arrow Lake

Upper Arrow Lake

Season: Year round

Arrow Lakes is a large lake that runs from Revelstoke to Castlegar. It is split into 2 sections known as Lower Arrow Lake and Upper Arrow Lake. The lakes are situated between the Selkirk Mountains to the east and the Monashee Mountains to the west. We have the pleasure of being able to access Arrow Lakes all year long out of Arrow Lakes Provincial Park campground and the Shelter Bay Ferry landing. Get the chance of reeling in the big one while we troll the surface with large flies for Rainbow trout and search down deep for Bull trout.
